When Chris Anderson of Wheel Pros sent us a photo of his company car, we smiled. “That’s a nice Hummer,” we said, “but we can’t run it.” Not deterred in the least, Chris asked, “Why not?” and we informed him that 8-Lug magazine only runs features on pickup trucks—and they have to have eight lugs, too. “Well then,” Chris said, “I’m in luck! Check out the photos—this is most definitely an eight-lug pickup!”
He was right. And aren’t we happy he was. That meant we could share a really unusual vehicle with you. This ’95 Hummer H1 four-door has more than 64,000 miles on it (and it did that at a whopping 7 mpg) and serves the purpose of bringing attention to Wheel Pros and the KMC wheels it rolls on.

KMC Rockstar (24-inch) wheels are definitely a focal point of the truck, and 38-inch Nitto Trail Grapplers help focus eyeballs in the direction of the H1. The build was coordinated by Street Concepts, with the purpose of promoting KMC wheels. The truck is seen as an aggressive urban assault vehicle, but it’s not all no-frills, as the colors and accessories were upgraded to complement the KMC brand. We’d like to point out that the mission statement was fulfilled completely with this H1 truck. Check out more KMC vehicles at www.kmcwheels.com or www.facebook.com/kmcwheels.

Thought you’d never see a Hummer in the pages of 8-Lug? Neither did we. This H1 qualifies because it’s a truck—and an eight-lug. Just to sweeten the pot, it also has a 6.6L Duramax diesel engine in it.
