When Jeff Kelderman decides it’s time for a new personal truck, you can bet it isn’t going to be a stocker from the local dealership. No, Jeff is not that sedate. As Vice President of Kelderman, he has to drive something that gets attention, something that he feels good about, and something that represents the company in a positive way. We’re pretty sure this truck exceeds all the requirements.
This ’10 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab has the Kelderman 8- to 10-inch Air Ride Suspension lift kit and uses the AccuAir e-Level air management package (with TouchPad interface). Dual Viair 450 compressors pump up the dual 3- gallon tanks, and an air drier keeps the moisture out of the system. The Kelderman kit replaces the factory leaf springs, coils, and sway bars with a durable four-link suspension system that eliminates wheelhop. The high-capacity airbags allow the vehicle to lower 4 inches for easier entry while rising to almost 13 inches higher than the factory ride height.
With all the newfound space in the wheelwells, the crew at Kelderman had to find some good-sized meats to stuff onto the truck, and that task fell to the 40-inch Toyo Open Country tires mounted on 22-inch RBP wheels. Custom Kelderman center caps were made for the wheels. The gear ratio is 4.56:1 and PML diff covers protect both the front and rear differentials. The dual steering stabilizers from Sway-A-Way keep the truck tracking straight on the highway. Sway-A-Way was also the company of choice for the dual front shocks and single rear shocks.
This is some beautiful handiwork. Air suspension, chrome bars, braided steel hoses, a PML diff cover, and more.

With the big tires came a need to boost the power (of course), so the K team added a Bully Dog GT programmer to the 6.7L Cummins diesel engine. A 4-inch MBRP exhaust also helps out in the horsepower boost department.
The front and rear custom bumpers are by Fab Fours, and a Warn 12K winch is mounted on the front. Lightforce HID off-road lights are mounted on the front bumper. The grille insert is an RBP piece. To make entry and exit easier, the truck sports a set of Amp Research PowerSteps.
The Tire Gate spare tire mount...
The Tire Gate spare tire mount has a Baja look and is certainly practical.
The big Ram truck was decked out with Recon LED lights in the taillights, headlights, third brake light, and a few other places, too. Another dress-up item is the color-matched Bushwacker fender flares. Speaking of color-matching, check out the Baja-style tire carrier by Tire Gate that’s mounted in the bed. You certainly can’t be left with a donut-style spare tire with a truck like this.
A Katzkin leather upgrade kit was further customized with the Kelderman logo embroidered on the seats. You can’t expect the VP not to be pampered a little bit!
