A lot of people think getting their truck into the SEMA show is one of the coolest things anyone can do. Mike Wine sure enjoyed it. It’s an honor to have your vehicle on display for the automotive elite to examine, and seeing everything else that’s there gives you a new perspective on what’s possible. Mike came away from the show with lots of ideas, and now he can’t really ever say his truck is “done.”
Mike, a Warrenton, Virginia, resident, lifted his ’10 Dodge with a Kelderman Manufacturing 8-to-10-inch kit. “I only want the best,” Mike told us, “and having air-ride suspension is the best way to lift a truck.” Sway-A-Way shocks ensure a stable ride.
The extra room afforded by the big lift kit allowed Mike to put 40-inch Toyo Open Country M/T tires on 20-inch RBP 94R chrome wheels (with black inserts).
The black Laramie 2500 pickup sports a Cummins diesel engine that has been boosted with an H&S Performance Mini Maxx, AFE Power Stage 2 system, and an MBRP exhaust.
A burly Fab Fours bumper changes the look of the front end and serves as a nice way to mount the Warn winch.
Much of the truck was blacked-out and we hear even more was being done after the photo shoot was completed. We’re pretty sure Mike will continue to tweak his Ram truck for many years to come. It will continue to get better with age.
