We liked the truck (and the photos) so much we were able to thrill Ron with the news that his ride was going to be featured in a full layout.
When Ron Lorentz took some pictures of his '06 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab to send in to 8-Lug HD Truck, he was thinking maybe he would be able to convince us to put one of the shots in Bragging Rights. We liked the truck enough to turn it into a multi-page mini-feature, and we're pretty sure we heard him whopping it up all the way from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
The truck is a Big Horn edition and Ron drives it every day during the non-winter months but stores the truck when there is snow on the ground. He uses the Dodge to tow a trailer north on ATV trips and to take trips down to the dragstrip.
Ron uses a Smarty tuner, aFe cold-air intake, and a 4-inch stainless steel turbo-back exhaust with a 5-inch exhaust tip. Isspro pyro and boost gauges keep track of the engine's vital statistics.
The Dodge was lifted 4 1/2 inches with a Fabtech lift kit, and 20-inch MKW wheels were mounted up to all four corners. Ron uses Kumho 37-inch tires on the truck.
There's still more that Ron wants to add to his Ram, including projector headlights, LED taillights, and finishing off the stereo system.
We're glad Ron took the time to take nice photos of his truck and send them to us. The results are pretty cool, don't you think? Maybe you should do the same.
