Any Gas Trucks?
I have an '03 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 8.0L V-10 gas engine. I was curious if you have ever posted anything about it or ever plan to. I have looked at several different mags and cannot seem to find anything.

We have not yet done anything with your V-10 gas engine, but we hope to soon. We just started including gas engines along with the diesel trucks in 8-Lug (as long as they are in 3/4- or 1-ton trucks), so we are still ramping up trying to find good feature trucks and good tech stories. Stay tuned.
Second Attempt
This is my second attempt at emailing you. The first time was through the 8-Lug website and I don't know if you got it or not. Anyway, here goes. The only thing wrong with your magazine is that it is too short. Every time I come back from Walmart, I sit down and read it from cover to cover and then find myself waiting another 29 days until the next issue comes out. Can you make it longer? Or come out with it twice a month? How about a cable TV show like Trucks or Xtreme 4x4? I can't think of a better show than something involving eight-lug diesel trucks. I know people have written in and asked about subscriptions and was wondering if you are any closer to convincing the publisher to provide them to all your loyal readers. If it's too much money, how about getting rid of Diesel World magazine and putting that money toward 8-Lug? Thank you for listening. I love your magazine. Keep up the good work.

While we read every email we receive, we don't always answer them (that would take so much time we wouldn't be able to get the magazine done!). We are, sadly, no closer to convincing the bean counters to offer subscriptions. It's just too expensive for us to do at this point...we're still hopeful, though. We can't do much about Diesel World since we don't own it. We do own Diesel Power, and it makes a lot of money, so it will be sticking around for sure.
I wish we could make the magazine longer. That will take an increase in ad pages, though-and in this economy, that will take a lot of hard work. Maybe 2010 will see things pick up and pages increased.
We used to have a lot of cable shows, but that has been subject to downsizing because of the economy. It would be great to have a show, though. I will continue to ask about that.
