Love it, Can’t Find it
I was recently introduced to your magazine through a friend, and man, I was blown away. But he told me good luck finding it anywhere. He got his from his friend in the military. So I went on the net to research and learned a lot about your magazine. I found an article from November 2011 about checking the big stores for 8-Lug. Since I live in Dayton, Ohio, I can only assume what the outcome would be if I could get a store to carry it—it would be short-lived. So I have an idea to propose to you. What if I wanted to purchase a copy of the last 12 issues and the next 12 issues to be published and sent you a check or money order for the amount, including the cost of postage. Is this something that might work?

No, we have no way of doing that. BUT WAIT! I have an announcement to make! 8-Lug HD Truck magazine is now available digitally through Zinio! That means you can subscribe for a year and get all 12 issues sent to you for viewing on your computer, iPad, or iPhone!
Put me in coach!
What do I need to do to get in 8-Lug magazine? I’m not asking for a front cover (which would be awesome), just a few snapshots or something. My truck has a lot of mods, and it would mean so much if I could get in it!

The only way to find out is to send a photo to Bob.Carpenter@sorc.com. Please don’t send 35 photos (it happens, and it clogs up our email system), just one or two good ones. We’ll be in contact with you after looking at the photos.
Bonneville is Coming Up
It’s time to start calling for reservations for Speed Week. The dates are August 11 to August 17. If I were you, I’d call around town and see what the price range is.

Hmm...Speed Week at Bonneville. We just watched The World’s Fastest Indian on DVD the other day. Sure looks like a fun time. Maybe so, maybe so…
When? Can You Tell Me When?
I was wondering what the schedule is for the article on Randy’s ’08 GMC dualie. He is very anxious to see his truck in the pages of your mag. Please keep me posted, and thanks again! Also, please let me know about Ryan’s white twin-turbo ’09 GMC article.

We’re not sure. It hasn’t been slotted for an issue yet. Our dog ate our future plans. The alarm clock didn’t go off. It’s somebody else’s fault. Actually, we’ll know in a month or so when it’s going to be scheduled. As you may have read in a recent issue, we’re suffering with a massive backlog of features.
