Subscribe to 8-Lug!
We have been suffering for many years now at 8-Lug HD Truck magazine with a lack of subscriptions. Our most loyal readers want to get the magazine every month, and some of our rural friends have the most difficult time finding it. We’ve heard plenty of stories about driving for half an hour to go to the Walmart only to find out every copy of 8-Lug sold out before our readers could get one. Well, we’ve found a partial solution. 8-Lug is now available digitally on Zinio. You upload the magazine onto your computer, iPad, iPhone, or whatever digital device you have, and then you read it just like a regular magazine. The pages turn, the layouts look exactly the same, and the text is easy to read—and it’s cheaper than buying a year’s worth of magazines if you subscribe for a full year. Give it a try!
While at the SEMA show, we managed to wrestle this autographed race truck away from an unsuspecting child (oh, relax, it’s just a joke—we actually stood in line to get this) just so we could give it away to one grateful reader. All you have to do is go to our website at www.8-lug.com
and tell us why we should give it to you and not the hundreds of others who want it. When you get to the 8-Lug page, click on “Community” and then on “Blogs.” Scroll down till you find Editor Bob Carpenter’s blog about giving away this toy truck. Do it. Do it now!
A lot of our readers use their trucks on a daily basis for work. They are proud of that and so are we. The HD truck owner is a different breed. We get lots of photos sent in showing trucks in their work environment. Why don’t you send in a snapshot of your truck at work? Send to Bob.Carpenter@sorc.com
We attended a local car show not too long ago and were pleased to see our buddy Tony Suarez displaying his new product i-Tek. Editor Bob Carpenter has known Tony for quite awhile, and anything he is a part of is virtually guaranteed to be high class and top quality. We took home some of the iTek car care products and found astonishing results. You can try it out, too.

Have you been to our website? If you have, you already know the benefits, but if you haven’t allow us to entice you to head on over to www.8-Lug.com
right away. You will find every article ever run in 8-Lug, and you will also find a lot more. For some stories, we’ve uploaded a ton more photos that weren’t able to fit in the print version of the magazine. Readers are able to upload their own truck photos in the Readers’ Rides section that’s located in the Community area (and let us tell you, a lot of them get asked to provide photos for the print version of the magazine, too, so it’s not a waste of time).

A quick visit to Full Throttle Suspension in Fresno, California, really opened our eyes to some very cool products being made in-house on sophisticated CNC machinery. We had no idea FTS was making so much of its own product. Expect a nice shop tour soon!
We love hearing about truck builds that are underway and look like they will be top-notch when they’re done. Cory Pelletier sent us this artist’s rendering of what he expects his truck to look like, and it was easy to say, “Yes, we’ll run it when it’s done!”
