"If at all possible, I would like to mention Jesse Todd and FarmboyFabrications.com. He put a lot of time and effort into making my truck what it is today and we've become good friends because of it," wrote Scott Finnessy. This '04 F-350 has a 12.5-inch Icon lift with crossover steering and six Icon shocks. With 17x14 Weld wheels and 39.5-inch Pitbull Rocker tires, this truck can go anywhere. The custom traction bars, straight tie rod, and steering stabilizer setup (housing two additional Icon shocks) were built by Farmboy Fabrications. Powered by an SCT XCalibrator 2, the truck also has an Airaid intake and custom exhaust. A Speed Wizard corrects the speedometer, and Autometer gauges keep tabs on the vitals.
Built To Handle Abuse
Dan Cordoba bought an '07 Ford F-350 mainly so he could continue to play uninterrupted with this '01 Ford F-350. As a moderator at Competitiondiesel.com and a vendor (Truck Toyz) on Powerstrokenation.com, Dan is intimately wrapped up in the whole diesel world and knows how to put together a nice rig. Dan was looking to build something other than another lifted Super Duty pickup, and he succeeded wildly. We'll have a full feature on this truck soon.
"My name is David Huff," one reader wrote, "and I drive a 2000 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Dualie. It has a 7.3L diesel with A1 head studs, Stage 3 injectors, a FASS fuel system with a regulated return, a Stage 2 AFE intake, a Garrett ball bearing turbo, and a 6.0L transmission cooler. I have a Titan 62-gallon fuel tank for those long hauls. The motor work was all done at Truck Source Diesel in San Antonio, Texas. The exhaust consists of a 4-inch down-pipe to 7-inch stacks (those will be swapped for bigger ones soon). The suspension consists of 18.5 inches of lift. I am rolling on 24.5 Accuride Big Rig Wheels with 12R24.5 Michelin tires that equal 46's. The inside consists of a custom stereo/video system installed by Divine Designs in San Marcos, Texas. It hits in the 150dBa range. I have an A-pillar triple-gauge pod consisting of pyro, boost, and tranny temperature gauges, and an '05 grill cut down to fit my truck. All the lights have been cleared out and the LED's are all from Recon Truck Accessories. This truck was stolen three months ago and I got it back 24 hours later, stripped of the stereo/video equipment and all my tools-I was just glad to get it back. My insurance was very good to me. For the future, I have a Kelderman Air Ride that is currently getting powdercoated to put on the truck, and then a full paint job."
