Canadian Badazz
"I just finished the 4-inch turbo-back exhaust with an AFE air filter in a modified stock intake," Jason Buhler of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, wrote. "I went with the Diablo Sport Predator tuner and I'm pleased that I did, as it seems to help mpg while rollin' 35-inch Toyos on 20-inch Tezzen wheels. The Fabtech lift is powdercoated, as is the bumper. The StylinSteps nerf bars protect the truck and make it easier to get in and out. I installed a triple-pillar mount with Autometer ES gauges, a No Image stainless instrument cluster, and a brushed nickel dash and door trim."
The Sleeper
Jeret Howard of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, drives this '00 Ford F-250 with a Diesel Innovations six-position tuner, HEUI injection pump, a modded compressor and turbine sides, PI Stallion torque converter, and Sonnax valve mod. Next up on the list of things to do is a set of injectors.
Oakdale Express
John Roberts of Oakdale, California, owns this '08 Dodge Ram 2500. The Mega Cab has a 6.7L Cummins, 8-inch Rize Industries lift, 20-inch Dick Cepek DC-1 wheels, 37-inch Pro-Comp X-Treme MT tires, and Amp Research power steps. All the work has been done by Show-Off Motorsports in Riverbank, California (www.showoffmotorsports.com). Thanks to Billy and his guys for all the work they've done.
WVDUCK's Silverado
When we grabbed photos of Howard Claypool's '05 Chevy off of our website, we didn't know what his name was...only his online handle: WVDUCK. Now everyone knows that Howard built this truck with an RCD 6-inch spindle lift kit, torsion keys, Add-A-Leaf (for 2 inches), and Fabtech tie rods. Howard selected the MBRP 4-inch turbo-back dual exhaust and an AFE Stage 2 intake for power adders.
Diesel F-100
"This is my '67 F-100," Caleb McClellan wrote. "It was built for cruising around town and has done a best of 32 mpg in town and 34 mpg highway after 3,000 miles of use. I have an Isuzu 4bd1t 3.9L diesel engine with compound Holset turbos that will spin to 4,500 rpm. The truck rides on an '07 Crown Vic aluminum front suspension with rack and pinion and 12-inch disc brakes. The independent rear suspension is from a '94 Lincoln Mark 8 and is all aluminum as well, with limited slip and 3.27 gears. I am currently running a 700R4 auto but will be swapping it for a built 4l85e from an '07 Duramax-powered van using a precision converter and hardened internals, along with a Gear Vendors overdrive and a PCS controller, for a total of eight forward gears. The truck is still a work in progress, but it's coming together quickly. I estimate power around 450 rwhp but will hit the dyno soon to confirm."
