Custom Ride
Jeffery Bass is an avid 8-Lug HD Truck magazine reader. His truck, an ’03 Chevy Silverado Z-71, is not an eight-lug truck. No matter. He’s a reader, and this is his ride. A 6-inch Pro Comp lift kit combines with 20-inch BMF S.O.T.A. Death Metal black wheels and 35-inch Toyo M/T tires for a nice-looking ride. Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks on the front and Bilstein 5150 shocks on the rear keep things comfortable. Escalade door handles compete with the Street Scene Speed Grille and black powdercoated Bow Tie for attention. An AEM Brute Force kit takes care of the intake while True Duals turndowns handle the exhaust.
Big Boy Toy
Ever since high school, Scott Lemelin and his buddy (since passed) have been fascinated with customizing their rides. Scott moved on from the sports car phase to the big boy toys and is still keeping his memory of his buddy strong. This ’02 Ford F-350 cruises Key West, Florida, with 6-inch MBRP Smokers exhaust stacks with MECA truck-style chrome rain caps. A pillar-mounted Edge Evolution tuner is set on Level 2, and propane injection is next on the list. The suspension was beefed up and lifted 14 inches with a Fabtech/Sway-A-Way kit. The wheels are 20-inch XD series (model XD766).
Pipeline Roamer
Kevin Johnson lives in Oklahoma, but he goes wherever the pipelines need work. He drives his ’08 GMC Sierra 1,800 miles to Oregon and many other places. The 80-gallon auxiliary tank makes those trips easier. An Edge Racer CTS helps out with power while the 20-inch RBP 94 wheels keep things looking good. Kevin mentioned he is a Native American Seminole/Creek.
