Adam Perreault’s Dodge Ram 2500 has a 6-inch Revtek lift and sports 35-inch Kelly tires mounted on 17-inch Moto Metal 951 wheels. The gas truck has a Hemi with a Superchips programmer, Mopar throttle-body spacer, cold-air intake, and performance exhaust. “Full-length, aluminum running boards were added because my wife likes to step off into the 2-foot snow banks in style,” Adam told us. A Lund cap keeps the stroller clean when making the 100-mile trek to the city for groceries. The truck is used for everything from hauling firewood and cars to getting soil and going to the hospital in blinding snowstorms.

John Chambers says, “I actually drive this on the roads in Arizona. It’s definitely not a show truck, although it may look like it. I swap it out with my motorcycles for commuting and cruising or whatever else interests me.” The truck is an ’03 Ford F-350 Lariat with the 6.0L Power Stroke engine. John uses a Banks Six-Gun tuner with the IQ system. A custom 40-inch lift utilizes a four-link suspension system that includes King coilovers. The four-corner air ride acts as a bumpstop. The tires are 49-inch Super Swampers mounted on 20-inch Weld wheels. The custom mudflaps are from Rowdy Racks.
We Asked For It
Clint Howard decided to send some pics of his truck after reading about how we want more pics from people. “8-Lug is one of my favorite diesel magazines to read out here in Iraq,” he said. Clint’s truck is an ’04 Ford F-250. He bought it last August when he was home for R&R. The truck has an 8-inch lift kit with 37-inch tires on 18-inch wheels. He says it has a killer sound system consisting of a Clarion touch-screen head unit with 1,400 watts running to the four 10-inch subs in a custom-built box behind the back seat. The front and rear speakers were upgraded, and they have a 600-watt amp pushing them. Clint also installed Recon interior lights, smoked-out taillights, side mirror lights, and a third brake light. Currently being installed is a Banks Big Hoss Power Bundle with the Banks IQ touch screen and a set of train horns and smoked front headlights. “I just can’t wait to take my baby out and play in the mud or take my boat out to the lake,” Clint enthused.
