Diesel trucks are a hobby for Phillip Waddell. His ’07 Dodge 5.9L Cummins Mega Cab dualie 4x4 puts out 1,215 lb-ft of torque and 603 hp on the dyno. This truck has a 5-inch Fabtech lift, Ultra Goliath rims, and six Pro Comp Xtreme A/T tires. A Western Hauler headache rack dresses things up while the Ranch Hand front and rear bumpers toughen up the appearance. The stereo system has two 12-inch subs in a custom-built ported box, an Audison 1,200-watt amp, two Kicker amps, Hertz door speakers, and a Kenwood flip-out head unit. It’s all powered by a Kinetic power cell. Other cool parts include a FASS fuel system, Industrial Injection PhatShaft 64, South Bend dual-disc clutch, Smarty 260hp TNT-R programmer, Westin step bars, and a whole lot more.
After a good wax job, Henry Davis took some nice photos of his ’08 Ford F-350 and sent them in with high hopes. Although, he did say he’d be more than happy with a tiny little photo that could even be covered up by the mailing label. We’re happy to provide much more than that for this very sweet Blue Oval dualie. Every few months, Henry adds something new to his truck, from the lift to custom running boards to interior work. It’s a continual work in progress.
While we were at the ATS Diesels on the Mountain event in Colorado, we snapped this photo of Chris Burandt’s ’04 Chevy 3500. This truck is legendary, as is the owner. Chris is a motorsports competitor and snowmobile virtuoso. This truck helps him in his Backcountry Adventure business, but it still packs a wallop. ATS got involved with the build, and before he knew it, the GM truck had compound turbos, twin CP3s, and much more.
This sled-pulling ’02 Chevy is a proven winner. Travis Justus happened to win an event where we had a photographer (who somehow missed getting a shot of the winning run), and we promised we’d run a photo of the truck. Here it is working hard!
